👆The Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona has reopened its doors after the covid19 lockdown, and it did so for an unusual audience. On the 22nd of June conceptual artist Eugenio Ampudia has prepared an original, unique and different concert, in which the 2,292 seats of the auditorium were occupied by plants. More information about it – here.

As informed by artnet, California will have a new art space called Compound. It doesn´t seem to be a usual art gallery or a museum but a new 15,000-square-foot space dedicated to art and welness. Founded by Los Angeles-based designer and art collector Megan Tagliaferri, Compound will offer exhibitions, public programming, meditation sessions, yoga, healing workshops, and youth art classes, among other events. If you check their website look for “Compound-ed“, an interesting online editorial in case you are not in California. I have found some curious projects and artists not previously known to me📝

ARTnews have published a re-vised version of the article from the beginning of 2020 with 18 Trends That Will Move the Art World Forward. I found it very interesting and recommend you to take a look at it too. It may give you ideas for your own work too. 👆

My favorite instagram account this week is by Toyin Ojih Odutola without any doubts!👆 The subjects, compositions, colors and the texture of those colors make Toyin´s paintings sculpture-like and live.
